- UK Small Business Awards Finalist 2025
'Best Community Contribution' Top 20!

HAPPY NEW YEAR -2026
HAPPY NEW YEAR, from the Girls Allowed team!
What an incredible first year our organisation has had.
We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported our mission and purpose since the very beginning, who has attended our events and who has helped make Girls Allowed the successful community group it has become.
During our first year, within 10 months, we were able to hold our very first women's event in April 2025, be recognised by local BS13 GP surgeries, hold free events and women and children events, launch our coffee mornings, receive a £250 grant from the Knowle West Alliance, create our community bank account, become a constituted group, become finalists and place at number 19 in the Small Business Awards UK for best community contribution and host our first ever annual awards presentation.
This is an outstanding achievement, without your support it wouldn't have been possible.
We look forwards to 2026 and seeing what's in store for Girls Allowed moving forward.
It's only just the beginning and we hope to see you at one of our events!

About us & our values
Created in 2025 Girls Allowed is a Women's Only constituted group within the heart of Bristol which aims to provide ongoing physical and mental wellbeing support for women.
Girls Allowed's aims and purposes include supporting women across Bristol no matter what challenge or difficult situation they may be facing. With no limitations, Girls Allowed aims to bring awareness and support to multiple conditions and lifestyles such as mental health disorders, domestic abuse and difficult family dynamics, women's health concerns such as endometriosis, PMDD, PCOS and more, pregnancy complications, bereavement & child Loss and debilitating illnesses such as cancers, fibromyalgia and diabetes to name a few.
We believe no women should suffer in silence, should struggle or feel isolated and therefore Girls Allowed has been created to achieve an uplifting, safe space in which women can feel comfortable, relatable and heard.
With the provision of a monthly event creating a safe space for women to socialise, meet new friends and enjoy local entertainment we hope to bring a sense of self reflection, relief from daily challenges and help women to continue being their authentic selves by supplying information for local activities and hobbies of all kinds, taking them away from their daily struggles and allowing women to freely be themselves.
This is also a great chance for women to seek advice and support from each other, to gain relevant information for professional services and find the help that they require.
Our social media support page is available on Facebook in which informative posts regarding how women can keep themselves safe, uplifting content, updates and interactive options are available for women to have their say and meet other women in the community.
We continue to actively seek new ways to help all women.
