Our Girls Allowed women's events are for ages 18+, this is due to having a bar on site, the nature of our women's games and some entertainment acts.

Our events are currently held at Zion Bristol, Bishopsworth Road, BS13 7JW, once a month, always on a Friday and always 7-11pm.

We have added a new additional location for 2026, Broad Plain Rugby Club, BS3! To check where we are, visit 'OUR EVENTS'

Tickets for our events can be purchased directly from our website following any of our "Get Tickets" links situated around our site. The links will direct you to Eventbrite where you can purchase the required amount. Alternatively, you can buy your tickets directly from Zion's cafe prior to the event taking place, or buy them on the door on the evening of our events.

Please note, if purchasing tickets online you will be required to pay an online additional ticket fee of £1.21, this can be avoided if purchasing tickets from the venue directly.

We have a range of women's games situated behind the bar area which are free to use during the evening, photo props for fun, small goodies for sale including cakes!

We signpost at our monthly events for Domestic Abuse, Mental Health, Physical health conditions, Women's health, long term disabilities, pregnancy complications, bereavement and more. We also have a 'local business' leaflet table available.

A fully stocked and licensed bar is available, music, a raffle, PLUS our main entertainment of the evening which is voted for by the women, like yourself, on our Facebook page!

Nope! We are a women's only constituted community group and our monthly events are for women 18+ only. This also includes all female bar staff! The only male we have had to date is our drag queen act which may sometimes be voted for in terms of entertainment.

You can arrive and leave as and when you wish during the times of 7pm - 11pm. You can also leave and return using your ticket if you need to pop home, run an errand or need to take a rest.

Girls Allowed fully supports the LGBTQIA+ community, therefore we support those who identify as female. This also includes non-binary biological females and transgender women. We support all females regardless of their journey and sexual orientation.

Yes. The bar at Zion Bristol accept both cash and card payments.

For buying any goodies, cakes or raffle tickets from Girls Allowed during our events we also accept both cash and card payments. Our other stall holders which may attend our events may have different payment methods and may differ, please contact them directly beforehand.

Getting to our events and getting yourselves home safely is a priority of ours. We urge you to come with a friend or family member if possible and to not leave alone at 11pm for extra safety matters. Yes! Zion have the most amazing air con system which is much more practical during the summer months - Plus, you can definitely have a dance without breaking too much of a sweat!!

At Zion Bristol there is a back garden area situated to the left side of the platform stage, for smokers and vapers please use this area during the evening and try to refrain from using the front entrance where passers by may be present, plus, Zion is located in a residential area and we'd like to minimise any noise for the local neighbours where possible.

We encourage you to come along to our Girls Allowed events even if this means attending solo. This can have a great impact on your confidence levels, self esteem and mental health wellbeing when overcoming something challenging and having an evening to socialise with likeminded women. Many women to date have arrived solo and have made friends and connections instantly and have spoken highly of their evening with us at Girls Allowed.

Remember you are welcome to leave at any time if you are feeling anxious or overwhelmed, we would much rather you feel comfortable doing what you decide to do. We also have our committee members at our events who are all trained and qualified in different areas and topics to support you in the best ways possible. You are always welcome to sit with a committee member if you are feeling anxious and overwhelmed.
